Sugar Plum Fizz Christmas Cocktail

If you are looking for an easy and pretty cocktail. I've got you covered. This drink gets its name from Baltic Bros Harvest Plum Vodka. The Baltric Bros are a Manitoba-based cocktail company, best known for their flavoured vodkas. This company only came onto my radar recently. And yum! The Harvest Plum vodka adds a rich sweet flavour to the Sugar Plum Fizz Christmas Cocktail, but you can also use a cherry or blueberry vodka, or a flavoured gin.

Fancy Ice Cubes are Key

Your cocktails will stand out if you take a little time to prepare pretty cubes in advance. I have a deep silicone ice tray that produces large cubes. Add a couple of raspberries and a sprig of rosemary to each individual cube, cover with water and freeze. Simple!

You can also make flavoured ice. Add a few squeezes of lemon or lime, or use flavoured water or some cranberry juice. BUT because of the sucrose, juice doesn't freeze well. Be sure to do half water and half juice for some perfect festive ice cubes.

Sugar Plum Fizz Cocktail

Serves: 1

Ingredients

• 1 Lime

• 1 tablespoon white Sugar

• Prepared Ice Cubes with raspberries and rosemary

• 1oz Baltic Bros. Harvest Plum Vodka

• 1 Can (330ml) San Pellegrino Melograno & Arancia sparkling water

Directions

1. Slice lime in quarters. squeeze and rub quartered lime along rim of glass

2. Add sugar to a small plate. Dip juiced glass rim in sugar.

3. Add ice cube to glass

4. Add vodka

5. Add San Pellegrino to fill (One can should be good for 2 drinks)
